COVID-19 Updates

Last updated: 2/5/21

We are continuing to conduct business following OSHA’s and the CDC’s best practices, as well as Virginia state mandates, to keep our employees, customers and visitors healthy. This means:

  1. We are still operating from a distance, meaning our front office remains closed to the public at this time. We have our phone number listed on the door for walk-in visitors. We can also prepare and charge for orders in advance if you call (540) 667-2301 or use the Contact or Quote Request form. FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED INDOORS BY STATE LAW AND FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR HIGH-RISK STAFF.

  2. Loading is first come, first serve and we appreciate your patience as we process orders from a distance. *All visitors must wear a face mask if they exit their vehicle during loading per state mandate and for the safety of our loading crew. *

  3. We cannot make change for cash payment at this time due to coin shortage; we can take a check and accept all major credit cards. At the time you place your order, please let us know if you would like a receipt for the transaction.

  4. Health and cleanliness have become a top priority for all staff at Winchester Precast. Along with the mandatory use of face masks during work, we have also stepped up daily cleaning and disseminated hand sanitizer for all staff to use. All in-person meetings are conducted outside of our building or at a clean location with face masks.

Quality Control Assurance

Winchester Precast takes pride in the products we produce and we feel a good product begins with a good quality assurance program.

Our plan conforms to Virginia specifications as well as cities and counties in the commonwealth whose specs may vary. With evolving standards, we have consolidated our plan to form one program. In the event we are testing for agency requirements, results will be recorded and made available to all agencies for review.

Winchester Precast has tried to formulate our quality assurance program into a single plan to include each agency's standard requirements as we work towards a unified region.

The Quality Control Manager and staff report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Winchester Precast has been approved and certified by members of the following agencies: VDOT, ANSI, NPCA and PCAV.

Safety

Safety is our top priority at Winchester Precast. With a safety committee monitoring our employees, our leadership and Quality Control personnel strive for a productive and injury-free workplace. Our safety committee meets monthly to discuss any incidents, concerns and safety suggestions. We reward our employees who go above and beyond our safety regulations to ensure that we have a safe working environment.

In 2018, the NPCA awarded Winchester Precast with a Platinum Safety Award for 60,000-120,000 with zero OSHA-recordable injuries. As of February 2021, our crew has gone over 1553 days without a lost-workday injury.

In 2020, Winchester Precast was also recognized as a top-3 finalist by the AGC-Willis Towers Watson Construction Safety Excellence Award in the Vendor/Supplier division. More information about this prestigious award can be found below.

Winchester Precast Earns 2020 AGC-WTW Construction Safety Excellence Award

The AGC-WTW Construction Safety Excellence Award (CSEA) program is the industry’s elite safety excellence awards program for the construction industry. The CSEA program recognizes companies that have developed and delivered premier safety and risk control strategies. Additionally, CSEA showcases companies that have achieved continuous improvements and maintenance of their safety and health management systems.
